Cristian Tello closing in on Liverpool loan switch?

Barcelona youngster Cristian Tello is reportedly inching closer to joining Liverpool on a temporary basis in the winter transfer window.

The talented 22-year-old youngster, who is considered as one of the finest young talents at the Catalan outfit, has failed to cement his place in the first team this season, due to the form of Neymar, Pedro Rodriguez and Alexis Sanchez.


Spanish newspaper Marca claims that Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is keen on signing up the talented Spaniard for the rest of the season, as they aim to add more strength to their attacking department in the New year.


Tello joined Barcelona from Espanyol in 2010.
