Arsenal youngster Chuba Akpom set for loan switch

Arsenal youngster Chuba Akpom is reportedly set to leave the club on a temporary basis in the winter transfer window.

The talented striker made his debut for the senior side against Sunderland in September 2013, but has only played a part in the Capital One cup tie at West Bromwich Albion since then.


The Daily Star reports that the Gunners are  keen on sending their youth star on loan in order to gain some useful first-team football experience. A host of League 1 clubs in Brentford, MK Dons, and Peterborough United.


Akpom joined the Arsenal youth academy in 2002.
