Manchester United midfielder on the verge of a move to Serie A

Manchester United midfielder Anderson is close to joining Serie A side Fiorentina. The 25 year old has failed to impress in England since making his move from Portugal.

The reigning Premier League champions are to make a clear out under new manager David Moyes and it looks like the Brazilian will be first one to depart Old Trafford.


According to various reports circulating Anderson will first go out on loan to the Viola before making his move permanent but Red Devils will only be able to recoup only half the amount they paid Porto in 2007.


In his six and a half seasons at United the eight time capped international has only made 104 appearances for the club.
