Tottenham reject offer for French midfielder

Tottenham have reportedly rejected a bid for French midfielder Etienne Capoue from Italian club Napoli. The reported bid was €8m but it is understood that the Spurs want closer to €11m.

The club are keen to land a central midfielder after having failed to land Radja Nainggolan and Maxime Gonalons.


Capoue has failed to establish himself at the North London club and even after injuries to many first teamers played second fiddle to 19 year old Nabil Bentaleb.


The 25 year old who arrived in Premier League from French club Toulouse in the summer has made only six starts for the club in the league.
