PSG agree fee for Yohan Cabaye

French giants Paris Saint-Germain have apparently agreed on a transfer offer to sign Yohan Cabaye from Newcastle United.

Cabaye's future at the Tyneside had been under intense speculation over the past few weeks, with the Ligue 1 club keen on acquiring the services of the French international during the January transfer window.



According to Sky Sports, Les Parisiens are understood to have made an offer which is 'significantly higher' than their initial bid of £14m, which was turned down by the Magpies yesterday.



The Magpies have agreed on the transfer offer with Paris Saint-Germain for the talented playmaker, and a move is subject to Cabaye undergoing a medical with the French champions.



The 28-year-old had notched up 18 goals in 93 appearances for the Premier League club in all competitions, since his move from Lille in 2011.
