Cardiff City to cut losses on Andreas Cornelius
Cardiff City are prepared to take a major hit on Danish international striker Andreas Cornelius, as they have reportedly accepted a £5 million bid from FC Copenhagen.
The Danish side sold Cornelius to Villa last summer for a reported £8.5 million but the striker has so far failed to live up to expectations and could now be facing a surprise return back home.
The 20-year-old is also unhappy in Wales and is said to be desperate to leave to find regular first team football elsewhere.
Cornelius has four and a half years left on his contract at the Bluebirds.
