Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
Chelsea have joined the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United in the race to sign Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo.
The former Manchester City graduate has been a key player for the Cottagers, but he will be leaving on a free transfer after June 30.
United and Liverpool have already made contact with his representatives, but the Blues are also prepared to provide solid competition.
The west London giants recently confirmed the departure of veteran centre-back Thiago Silva after four seasons at the club.
With their financial issues, they are likely to pursue a cost-effective replacement and Adarabioyo fits their requirement.
The 26-year-old will make a decision over his future this summer. He may give preference to the club which assures him game time.
The centre-back is also on the radar of several elite European clubs, but he is more likely to continue in the Premier League next term.
Chelsea could emerge as a favourable destination for him, considering he has spent most of his senior playing career in west London.
