Danny Hoesen moves to Greece
Ajax striker Danny Hoesen has completed his loan move to Greek club PAOK. The Club will have an option to sign the player permanently from Ajax come the summer.
Hoesen, 23 joined Ajax from Premier League club Fulham and had made 32 league appearances for the club scoring seven goals. However he was never able to nail down a regular place in the first eleven and was club’s fourth choice striker behind Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, Bojan, and Siem de Jong.
There was interest in the player from Italian side Livorno, Belgian club Zulte Waregem, and Eredivisie side Roda JC. Hoesen has however chosen to work with Dutch coach Huub Stevens.
PAOK are currently second in Greek Super league 11 points behind Olympiakos.
