Hamburg youngster pens new deal
Hamburg Youngster Hakan Calhanoglu has signed a new deal with the Bundesliga club. The new deal will keep the 19 year old at the club till 2018.
The Turkey international has had an impressive season in the Bundesliga with five goals from the midfield for a team that currently occupies the last of the automatic relegation spots. Even last season Calhanoglu had an excellent time while he was on loan at Karlsruher, scoring 17 and assisting in 12 goals for a side that won promotion to Bundesliga 2
This is what the player told the club’s official website,
"I have always said that I feel at home in Hamburg and at HSV as well.
"I want to continue to play for the club in the Bundesliga in the coming years, becoming an integral part of the team. In our difficult situation I want to set an example."
The midfielder who has been at the club since 2012 was recently linked with a move to Premier League with both Arsenal and Liverpool Interested.
