Bayern Munich star Kroos staying put
Attacking midfielder Toni Kroos, who appears to be a long term target for Manchester United, has been told that he is very much a part of Bayern Munich's future as club manager Pep Guardiola ruled out a move away for the German international.
The midfielder starred in the 2-0 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night as he scored a goal for the second consecutive year in the Champions League against the Gunners.
Man Utd were amongst the teams seemingly ready to swoop for the player once his contract expires in 2015, but it is understood that Munich are confident that they can keep the player.
Guardiola told reporters: "He played on a very, very high level. That was real Champions League level.
"We all want him to prolong, and he also wants that, I am very positive about it. The club, we all want that."
