Sunderland eye Juninho

Sunderland are contemplating a move for Lyon's captain and Brazilian midfielder Juninho Pernambucano. The 32-year-old is reportedly interested in a move to the Premiership before the end of his career, and Roy Keane is looking for some creative talent in his midfield.
In 2001, Juninho moved abroad to play for French club Olympique Lyonnais from Vasco de Gama, and has scored 82 goals in 200 games for the French giants.
Lyon are not keen to sell the Brazilian, but Juninho is reportedly desperate to try his hand in the Premiership and Sunderland will also be likely to have to face Chelsea and Tottenham for his prestigious signature.
A fee of over £8m has been suggested for the free-kick expert.
