Costa Rican winger hoping for Arsenal return
Joel Campbell has expressed his desire to prove his worth to parent club Arsenal during the next campaign.
The talented Costa Rican international has failed to make an appearance for the North London outfit since his move from Saprissa in the summer of 2011, as he wad denied a work permit to play in the England's top tier.
The work permit issues have resulted him into spending his career on loan deals at Lorient, Real Betis and currently Olympiacos.
However, the 21-year-old is keen to impress on the big stage with the Gunners, following approval of a work permit.
"As soon as Arsenal came, I wanted to join them and I believe I am ready to play for Arsenal next season," He said. "I know I have the capacity to play there. I am only waiting for the opportunity. With hard work I know I can get there."
Campbell scored a stunning goal during Olympiakos' 2-0 win over Manchester United in the first-leg of the knock-out stage in the Champions League last night.
