Mario Mandzukic on Man Utd radar
Mario Mandzukic on Man Utd radar
Both Manchester United and Arsenal have received a welcome boost in their race to sign Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic, after Bundesliga side Wolfsburg withdrew their interest in the 27-year-old.
Arsenal had made their interest known in the Bayern frontman over 6 months ago but the Bavarian side have been so far reluctant in their plans to keep the striker.
It is understood that Man Utd are now ready to trump Arsenal with a bid of around 15 million Euros to bring the forward to Old Trafford.
Mandzukic has been a shining light for Bayern since making the move to the German champions and is now expected to quit the Alianz Arena for a move elsewhere in the summer due to the impending arrival of Robert Lewandowski.
