Arsenal boss top of Barcelona shortlist

Barcelona have reportedly placed Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger on their list of managers they will target, should they allow the departure of Gerardo Martino at the end of the season, according to Sport.

Martino has been criticised in recent weeks following the club's league defeats to Valencia, Real Sociedad and Real Valladolid, and may not be able to save his job for the next campaign.

 

Sport claims that Arsene Wenger is considered as one of the top contingents to replace the Argentine at Camp Nou in the summer.

 

As of now Wenger has not yet put pen to paper on a new deal with the Gunners, and could leave the club in the summer, should they fail to win a trophy this season.
