Tottenham join race for French striker

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to join the likes of Arsenal and Newcastle for the services of Loic Remy in the summer.
The 27-year-old, who is currently on-loan at Newcastle United from Queens Park Rangers has put up a string of impressive performances for the club, and has amassed 13 goals in 24 appearances so far this season.
The Magpies are likely to make a bid to land the talented French star on a permanent deal for the next campaign, but widespread reports reveal that Spurs consider the former Marseille man as a perfect player to boost their front line, following the departure of Jermaine Defoe to Toronto FC last month.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Remy, as they look to provide competition to fellow countrymate Olivier Giroud.
