LA Galaxy to sign Frank Lampard in the summer?

Los Angeles Galaxy are reportedly preparing a deal worth £4m-a-year deal for Chelsea veteran midfielder Frank Lampard, according to The Sun.

The report claims that the 35-year-old England international is likely to leave the Blues in the summer, with manager Jose Mourinho yet to show signs of offering a new deal to the player beyond the current season.

 

Adding to this, the MLS club will look to pounce on the opportunity and sign the midfielder as one of their three designated players, who are above the league's salary cap.

 

Lampard has notched up 4 goals in 22 appearances for the league leaders so far this season.
