Chelsea manager hints at Drogba return in summer

Drogba set for Chelsea return?

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has hinted that he could re-sign former striker Didier Drogba at the end of the current campaign.

The talented Ivory Coast international is speculated to be set to leave Turkish club Galatasaray in the summer when his contract expires, and Mourinho has admitted that he would love to have the 36-year-old at Stamford Bridge for the next campaign if possible.

"He is a Galatasaray player, we know he is a free agent and we know he finishes his contract at the end of the season, but we think it is not the right moment to speak about him," The Portuguese coach said."I think it has to happen one day. When, I don't know - as a player, as a coach, as an ambassador - next year, in four or five years, in 10 years, I don't know."

Drogba will make his all awaited return to Stamford Bridge in Galatasaray's second leg of the knock-out phase in the Champions League.
