Liverpool join race for Luke Shaw

Liverpool have reportedly joined the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United in the race for the signature of Southampton full-back Luke Shaw during the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.
The report claims that the Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is looking to sign a new left-back to provide adequate competition to Jose Enrique for the next campaign and Shaw is considered as a top transfer target for the club in the summer.
The 18-year-old has been in excellent form for the Saints this season, and was recently rewarded with a debut for the England national side.
It will be interesting to see whether the South Coast club will manage to keep hold of their talented asset in the summer, with a number of big clubs interested in his services.
