Copenhagen dismiss Nicklas Bendtner transfer talk
Danish giants Copenhagen have played down talks of making a move for Arsenal's out-of-favour striker Nicklas Bendtner at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old was recently spotted watching his hometown club at Parken during the weekend, leading to the speculation that he could be poised for a transfer.
However, club director Anders Horsholt has dismissed the claims by insisting that the Dane had just come in to watch the game.
"We are not talking about that. He is in town and is an old Copenhagen boy, who during his childhood days [attended games at Parken]. He wanted to see some football, it isn't anything more than that." He said.
Bendtner's contract with the Gunners expires in the summer.
