Liverpool to move for Ander Herrera?

Liverpool are reportedly preparing a summer transfer offer for Athletic Bilbao star Ander Herrera, according to a report.

The Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is believed to be keen on signing a top-class midfielder as a long-term replacement for Steven Gerrard in the summer, and considers the talented Spanish youngster as one of his top targets.

 

Herrera, who has been linked with a switch to Manchester United since last summer, has played a vital part in the Basque club's excellent run in the La Liga this season.

 

According to Spanish publication Fichajes, Liverpool will make a bid of around £33m, which would triggers the player's release clause come summer transfer window.
