Pjanic to sign new Roma deal
Pjanic to sign new Roma deal
Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic has delighted Roma fans by announcing that he has no plans to leave in June. The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Tottenham believed to be in the race for his coveted signature.
However, the playmaker has moved quickly to rule out talk of a move away from Roma, insisting that his heart is set on staying with his current club this summer.
Pjanic is confident that he can agree a new deal with the Serie A side.
"I'm certain it will be extended, I just don't know when exactly," Pjanic quipped. "I've spoken with the coach and both he and the club know that I'm focusing on my football right now. We'll talk about it. It takes time, but I'm delighted here and I want to reaffirm that."
