Liverpool to sign Ross Barkley for club-record fee?
Liverpool are reportedly willing to make a club-record bid to secure the services of Everton midfield sensation Ross Barkley during the summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old has been in excellent form for the Toffees this season and has attracted interest from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United in recent months.
According to The Daily Star, the Reds are set to test Toffees' resolve by making a record transfer offer of £38m for the talented England international.
Barkley has scored 6 goals in 34 appearances for the Toffees this season, and is expected to play a major part in England's campaign in this summer's World Cup finals in Brazil.
