Arsenal to sign Nuremburg star for just £3.7m

Arsenal are considered favourites to land the signature of Nuremburg striker Josip Drmic for a bargain price of £3.7 million during the summer transfer window.

The talented Swiss international has been in top form for the German club, despite of their struggles in the Bundesliga this campaign.

 

The Gunners have been linked with the talented striker over the past few months, with some sources claiming that the player had agreed to join the North London outfit.

 

According to Germany Legend Lothar Matthaus, Drmic will reject the opportunity to stay in his home-country, should the Gunners come knocking the door for his services.

"Although now Dortmund, Gladbach and Leverkusen also have interest, I'm saying Josip Drmic will switch to Arsenal," the German legend said.

 

Drmic has scored 16 goals in 31 Bundesliga appearances this season.
