So'ton eye move for Danny Ings

Southampton are interested in signing up Burnley striker Danny Ings this summer, as the club are likely to be without Jay Rodriquez for the start of the season.

The England Under-21 international helped the Clarets earn promotion to Premier League this season, and is now attracting interest from several clubs in the top tier.

 

Latest reports reveal that the Saints have a good relationship with the Clarets, having secured the services of promising striker Jay Rodriquez two years ago, and the Championship outfit could allow the sale considering the tight financial budget they operate on.

 

Ings has scored 25 goals in 44 appearances for the club in all competitions this season.
