Everton consider move for Jonathan Soriano
Everton are monitoring the transfer situation of former FC Barcelona striker Jonathan Soriano, according to a report.
The 28-year-old, who joined Red Bull Salzburg from Barcelona's B team in January 2012, has been in extraordinary form in the Australian Bundesliga, having netted 30 goals in just 20 league games this season-bettering his tally of 26 in 33 last term.
Latest reports reveal that the Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is keen on signing a top-class striker to replace the void to be left by Romelu Lukaku, should the club fail to secure his services from Chelsea on a permanent basis this summer.
Adding to this, the Merseyside club consider Soriano as a top transfer target for the summer, and will make a bid in region of £7m for his services.
