Juventus join Arsenal in race for Bundesliga star

Juventus are set to battle it out with Arsenal for the services of one of the finest midfielders in the Bundesliga this summer.

Lars Bender, 25, has been constantly linked with a switch to Arsenal over the past year, and is considered as one among the best defensive midfielders in Europe.

 

According to The Mirror, Juventus are set to start off initial negotiations for the German midfielder, who recently signed a long-term deal with Bayer Leverskusen.

 

The Gunners are also believed to be tracking the player, as they consider a potential replacement for veteran midfielder Mikel Arteta in the summer.
