Man Utd line up shock move for Barca defender

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a transfer offer to land the signature of former Liverpool star Javier Mascherano this summer.

According to Football Direct News, the talented Argentine international is understood to be one among those who have been transfer-listed by the Catalan giants, as they prepare for a major squad reshuffle this summer, following a mediocre campaign under manager Gerardo Martino this season.

 

In Addition to this, the Red Devils are considering a summer move for the former Liverpool man, due to his versatility to play as either a defensive midfielder or a central defender.
