Tottenham chasing Rafa Benitez as new coach?

Napoli manager Rafa Benitez has this afternoon been linked with the Tottenham managerial role. Tim Sherwood, the current Spurs coach, remains under increasing pressure after a series of poor performances from his team.

A report from Italy suggests that Daniel Levy had contacted the former Chelsea and Liverpool coach in April. Benitez has already admitted that he has some unfinished business in England and is eagerly awaiting a chance to prove himself in the Premier League again. Tottenham's first choice manager, Frank De Boer, has already seemingly ruled out a move away from Ajax this season.
