Man Utd table bid for So'ton star

Manchester United have reportedly made a transfer offer for the services of Southampton full-back Luke Shaw this summer, according to Sky Sports.

The talented youngster has played a key role in the Saints excellent campaign in the Premier League this season, and is considered one among the best left-backs in the country.

 

According to the report, the Red Devils have tabled a bid in the region of £27m for the England international, as they look for a long-term replacement for Patrice Evra.

 

Reports elsewhere reveal that Netherlands manager Louis van Gaal will take control of the club after the World Cup finals conclude in Brazil.
