Liverpool plan summer swoop for Xherdan Shaqiri
Liverpool are pondering over a summer offer for Bayern Munich midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri, as they aim to strengthen their squad for the next campaign.
According to Liverpool Echo, the Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is keen on bolstering the club's midfield options as the club look set to have a tough schedule following their qualification to the Champions League.
The report also adds that the Merseysiders will look to Shaqiri as a back-up option, should they fail to land the services of Southampton star Adam Lallana in the upcoming transfer window.
A fee in the region of £15m could be sufficient to prise the Swiss international away from the Bavarian giants.
