Man Utd make bid for Adam Lallana?
Manchester United's newly appointed manager Louis Van Gaal is ready to open the cheque book to sign Southampton winger Adam Lallana. United will bid a reported £25 million to bring the England international to Old Trafford.
Liverpool and Tottenham have also been in talks with the Saints regarding a move for the 26-year-old, but have so far yet to agree a fee and talks appear to have reached an impasse.
Southampton are ready to sell Lallana but only for the right price and with United's £25 million bid, a deal is moving seemingly closer.
Lallana has spent his entire career at Southampton and first made his appearance in the first team back in 2006, aged only 18. Lallana is expected to be an important part of England's squad for the World Cup.
