Newcastle United sign Jack Colback

Former Sunderland midfielder Jack Colback will join Newcastle United on a free transfer during the upcoming transfer window.
The 24-year-old, whose contract expired in the summer, accepted a deal to join the Tyneside outfit, and also revealed his delight at playing for his hometown club.
"I'm absolutely delighted. To come to the team I supported as a boy, my hometown team, will be really special for me." Colback said. "It was an opportunity I couldn't let slip. If you asked fans around the world the one thing they'd like to do before they die, it would be to play for the team they support and I've got the chance to do that."
Colback left Sunderland following a 15-year association with the club.
