Man City to announce Bacary Sagna signing today?

Manchester City are reportedly set to announce the signing for Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna on a free transfer at some point today.

The French international has been linked with a summer exit from the Gunners, having refused to sign a new deal at the North London outfit.

Following the 31-year-old's farewell message to Arsenal supporters yesterday, City have emerged as front-runners to sign the former Auxerre star, and a deal could well be struck by today, The Express reports.

Sagna joined Arsenal from French club Auxerre in the summer of 2007.
