Valencia favourites to sign John Obi Mikel

La Liga outfit Valencia are believed to have shown interest in signing Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel this summer, according to a report.

The talented Nigerian midfielder failed to cement his place in the Blues' line-up under Jose Mourinho last season, following the arrival of Nemanja Matic from Benfica.

According to The Daily Mail, Valencia will make a summer move for the talented player, as they aim to strengthen their midfield setup for the next season.

Inter Milan have also shown interest in the 27-year-old, who is poised to feature for the Nigerian national side during the World Cup finals in Brazil.
