Romelu Lukaku linked with Spurs switch

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly open to making a summer move for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, as manager Mauricio Pochettino prepares for a major overhaul of his squad.

Spurs look set to spend big once again, following their failure to cement a Champions League place last season, and The Mirror reports that director of football Franco Baldini has had a meeting with the club's new manager and chairman Daniel Levy to discuss on possible recruits this summer.

It is understood that Lukaku is one of the top targets for the North London club, following reports that the 20-year-old may have to leave Chelsea in search of regular first-team football.
