Liverpool prepare player-plus-cash deal for Adam Lallana

Liverpool are reportedly set to offer out-of-favour striker Fabio Borini as part of deal to sign Southampton's Adam Lallana this summer.

The Reds are considered favourites to sign up the England international during the summer transfer window, but the Saints are holding out for a transfer fee of at least £30m.

According to The Express, the Merseyside giants will make a player-plus-cash offer of around £25m, with Borini moving to the South Coast club.

Liverpool have already completed the signing of Bayer Leverkusen's Emre Can and Southampton's Rickie Lambert this summer.
