John Heitinga joins Hertha Berlin

John Heitinga's spell with English football has come to an end after be Dutchman agreed a deal to join German side Hertha.The 30-year-old had many options on the table but decided to move abroad and join the Bundesliga side.

Heitinga activated a relegation release clause in his Fulham contract.
