Arsenal to move for Branislav Ivanovic?

Arsenal are reportedly keen on landing the signature of Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic this summer, The Mail reports.

The 30-year-old has been a regular in the Blues line-up in recent seasons but a disagreement over a new deal, could lead to his exit from the club.

The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is looking to sign a top-class centre-back during the summer transfer window, as he aims to provide sufficient competition to the likes of Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker. 

According to The Mail, the North London outfit will make a bid in the region of £8m to secure the Serbian international's services, should club-captain Thomas Vermaelen leave the Emirates in the summer.
