Arsenal plot swoop for Sami Khedira

Arsenal are reportedly readying a summer offer for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira, according to The Sun.

The Gunners are understood to be keen on signing a top-class midfielder, and consider the talented German international as one of their prime target during the summer transfer window.

According to The Sun, Khedira, who is currently playing his trade with the German national side at the World Cup finals in Brazil, could be the subject of a £23m bid from the Gunners this summer, as they look to strengthen their midfield department. 

It is understood that Mesut Ozil's influence could tempt Khedira into joining the North London outfit.
