Liverpool to loan Divock Origi back to Lille?

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is hoping to ward off interest from Borussia Dortmund by offering striker Divock Origi back to Lille on a season-long loan deal.

The Reds are understood to be keen on signing the Belgian international, who has been in top form during the World Cup finals but The People claims that Borussia Dortmund are also in Origi, with the player seemingly open to a switch to the Bundesliga.

The Merseysiders are now set to make a formal offer for the talented frontman, which would allow Lille to keep hold of the player on loan for the next season.
