Ashley Cole to leave Premier League

Former Chelsea and Arsenal defender Ashley Cole will be leaving the Premier League and moving abroad. The former England international's agent, Jonathan Barnett, told the BBC that the player has several options to choose from.

Monaco and Juventus were amongst the teams looking to sign Cole, but as yet the 33-year-old has yet to have made a decision.

"Nothing has been done yet and we are taking our time," said Cole's agent.

"Several clubs are interested but at the moment we are just talking to clubs based abroad."
