Luuk de Jong to PSV Eindhoven?
Former Newcastle striker Luuk de Jong is reportedly being pursued by PSV Eindhoven.
They are reportedly planning a bid between £5 million and £5.5 million.
He currently plays for German club Borussia Mönchengladbach.
In 2009, de Jong signed for Dutch side Twente for a duration of 3 years with an option of a 1-year extension. He scored his first goal in the Europa League for FC Twente in the away game against Werder Bremen.
At the end of the 2011-12 season, De Jong announced he wanted to leave the Dutch club.
In the summer transfer window of 2012, de Jong signed for Borussia Mönchengladbach on a five-year deal for a fee of £12.6 million. Later in the season, De Jong's first team opportunities faded and he only made twenty-three appearances, scoring six times.
In the January window this year, he signed with Newcastle United on a loan deal but failed to score in any of his 12 appearances for the Premier League side.
