Edwin wants xmas victories

Edwin van der Sar has emphasised the importance of christmas victories in the Premiership for Man Utd. Van Der Sar added that the wins will give his side momentum as they chase leaders Arsenal.
Van der Sar told Manchester United Radio: âThe Christmas and New Year period is very important.â
âWeâll play four games in ten days (from 23 December to 1 January) and while you could get all 12 points, you might drop some and that makes a world of a difference.â
âBut before we can think about Christmas we have to play Fulham and Derby at Old Trafford and then the big game at Liverpool. Although⦠I did put my Christmas tree up yesterday so thereâs a little bit of the festive feeling in my house!
âWeâre not satisfied with the situation, we want to be on top,â says Edwin.
âWe need a lot of hard work and some help from other teams who might get some wins or draws against Arsenal and the other big clubs.â
