Real Madrid plan massive bid for Marco Veratti
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is to raid his former club to sign Italian defensive midfielder Marco Veratti. Ancelotti will pay a massive 40 million Euros to secure the youngster's signature.
Veratti, who took part in Italy's unsuccessful World Cup tournament, has long been tipped to become the finest defensive midfielder of his generation and the 21-year-old could now be heading for a move to Spain after two successful seasons at Paris St Germain.
Ancelotti, the Real Madrid manager, signed Veratti from Pescara back in 2012 and is still known to keep a close eye on the performances of the midfielder. The deep-lying playmaker is hoping to move to Spain to reunite with his former manager and fellow countryman.
