Mandzukic completes move to Atletico Madrid
Atletico Madrid has announced the signing of Croat striker Mario Mandzukic on a four-year contract.
After the departure of strikers David Villa and Diego Costa to New York City and Chelsea respectively, the La Liga champions have signed their first striker this summer.
With the arrival of Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund, his first team chances have reduced. Now, under Diego Simeone, he will play as the main striker.
During a successful two year stay with Bayern, he scored 47 goals and won the Champions League, European Super Cup, Club World Cup, two Bundesliga titles, two German Cups and a German Super Cup titles.
Mandzukic brings a lot of winning experience with him and he will surely be an asset for the Los Colchoneros.
