Chelsea forward Demba Ba to join Besiktas

Turkish club Besiktas have agreed a fee with Chelsea for Senegalese striker Demba Ba. The forward will sign a three year contract with Besiktas and will fly in for talks tomorrow morning.

Chelsea have told Demba Ba that he is free to leave Stamford Bridge after the club completed a deal to sign Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid.

Competition for places is fierce at the Blues and Ba has decided that he will make a transfer elsewhere in search of regular first team action.

The former Newcastle striker has failed to impress Jose Mourinho during the Portuguese manager's first season back at Stamford Bridge.
