Sami Khedira agrees personal terms with Arsenal

Real Madrid midfield star Sami Khedira is reportedly on the cusp of joining Arsenal, according to Spanish newspaper Sport.

The World Cup winner has been constantly linked with a switch to the Premier League in recent weeks, with the Gunners considered to be keen on securing his services.

Reports had claimed last week that the North London club could end the 27-year-old's pursuit due to high wage demands.

However, Sport claims that Los Blancos have agreed a deal with the Gunners over the sale of Khedira, who is expected to sign a four-year deal at the Emirates.

It is understood that Khedira agreed on the transfer as the La Liga giants undervalued his place at the Bernabeu.
