Sami Khedira's agent denies Arsenal transfer link

Real Madrid star Sami Khedira has yet to agree a deal with Arsenal, according to his agent.

The Gunners are believed to be keen on signing the talented midfielder this summer, as they aim to bolster their midfield department for the next season.

Reports earlier revealed that the North London club were ahead of league rivals Chelsea in the race to sign the German international, after Los Blancos agreed on a transfer fee for the player's transfer.

However, his agent Jorg Neubauer has insisted that he has yet to receive an offer from either Arsenal or Chelsea for the player's signature this summer.

“We are not in talks with Arsenal,” Neubauer said.“I don’t think a fee can have been agreed, otherwise I would have been told."

“When a club have an interest I am sure they will call me and we will speak about things. The same goes for Chelsea.”

Khedira has one-year left in his current deal with the European champions.
