Arsenal to make stunning swoop for La Liga winger?

Arsenal could join the likes of Manchester United in the race to sign one of Argentina's best this summer, according to a report.

French champions Paris Saint-Germain have been deemed favourites to seal a deal for Argentine international Angel di Maria in recent weeks, but a report from Spanish Sports daily AS claims that Les Parisiens have cooled down their interest in the Champions League winner. 

This has brought up speculation that the Gunners, who are still in the market for top-class players, could make a move for the talented winger who is available to leave the Bernabeu for a fee of around £45m. 

Manchester United have also been linked with the player's services over the summer.
