Everton confirm deal for Christian Atsu

Chelsea winger Christian Atsu will make a season long loan move to Everton. The Ghanaian star will arrive at Goodison Park today to complete a transfer to Roberto Martinez's side.

Everton manager Martinez confirmed a deal today after telling reporters: "With the signing of Christian Atsu on loan from Chelsea this week, that's going to put us in a very strong position in terms of numbers."

Chelsea let Romelu Lukaku join Everton on loan last season and are hoping that Atsu enjoys regular first team football and will return to Stamford Bridge next campaign a better player.
